Gifts, Prizes & Raffle
One of the best parts about the Race for Cooperative Development is the quality of prizes we receive. In the past 22 years we have given out gift certificates to the top rated restaurants, the top rated hotels, top-notch golf courses, skybox tickets for the Redskins, Caps, and Nats and so much more. These prizes are awarded to the top runners in age and gender categories, but fear not - everyone is eligible for our raffle prizes as well!
Our raffle prizes are of the same caliber as our prizes for race winners, so don't feel like you are missing out if you choose to walk! On average, we give out about 30-40 prizes per year, total, so everyone has a chance to bring home something nice in addition to the feeling of helping out millions of impoverished citizens just by participating!
If you would like to donate a prize to our cause, please contact Programs Director - Terence Buen at tbuen@cdf.coop or 703-302-8097.
Tax Deductibility
100% of prize donations and sponsorships are tax deductible for the amount of their value. $20 of the registration fees are tax deductible.
