For the fourth consecutive year, the results of the latest Annual Home Care Cooperative Benchmarking report will be unveiled at the National Home Care Cooperative Conference. The report out on 2020 data will include macro and micro level data that co-ops can use to benchmark their own performance.

This workshop will look at organizational culture through the lens of equity, diversity and inclusion, and offer up strategies for creating an intentional, inclusive organizational culture that better represents all members of the cooperative

Usualmente pensamos en la cultura laboral como un concepto abstracto que no podemos cambiar. Sin embargo, la cultura es constantemente creada y reforzada por nuestras interacciones, decisiones e identidades. Participants will be encouraged to share their name and where they are coming from when speaking to facilitate peer networking and connection.

When done well, annual performance evaluations can be a positive growth experience for those receiving and conducting the evaluation. But evaluations can also be tricky, especially in cooperatives, where evaluators wear both the hat of a supervisor and as supervised staff! In this session learn about performance evaluation best practices, and how to navigate the tricky dynamics of evaluating someone who also supervises you!

In this special panel, caregivers from a variety of cooperatives will share their experiences and opinions on what attracted them to the cooperative where they are employed/what would attract others, why they stay, what would make co-ops more attractive for caregivers in today's climate, etc.
