Ziewacz Fuhrman Join CDF Board

WASHINGTON, DC (July 17, 2017) —  Two new members were appointed to the board of directors of the Cooperative Development Foundation:  Devin Fuhrman, Vice President of Sponsor Relations, Nationwide in Columbus, OH, and Judy Ziewacz, President, NCBA CLUSA in Washington, DC.

Ziewacz was appointed to complete the term of Gasper Kovach, who resigned in June.  Kovach, who recently retired from the Highland Exchange Service Cooperative in Lake Wales, FL, served on the CDF Board for fourteen years including as chair.

Fuhrman was appointed to fill an open board seat.   Long-serving board member Karen Blickley, President, Nationwide Foundation in Columbus, OH, did not seek reappointment when her term expired.

Reappointed to the board were: Larry Blanchard, CUNA Mutual in Palm Springs, CA; Carla Decker, District Government Employees Federal Credit Union, Washington DC; Deb Trocha, Indiana Cooperative Development Center, Indianapolis, IN; Chuck Snyder, National Cooperative Bank, Arlington VA; Christina Jennings, Shared Capital Cooperative, Minneapolis, MN, and Linda Tank, CHS Inc. (retired), Cottage Grove, MN.

The CDF Board selected Rich Larochelle, National Rural Utilities Cooperative Finance Corporation (retired) of Fredericksburg, VA to serve as Chair.  Rich Larochelle was reappointed to the Board in December.  Deb Trocha will serve as Vice chair and Christina Jennings as Secretary and Treasurer.

CDF has a nine-member board.  Five directors are appointed by the NCBA CLUSA Board and four appointed by the CDF Board.
